Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville is Turning 12!

Celebrate with the Museum this Sunday, October 23 with an all-day birthday party sponsored by Colonial Pipeline

Discovery Place Kids – Huntersville is celebrating 12 years serving the community in a big way! Thanks to a generous donation of $250,000 from Colonial Pipeline, the organization will announce a new feature coming to the Museum this year. Discovery Place Chief Learning Officer, Tifferney White, along with Discovery Place Kids – Huntersville Museum Director, Lindsey Gordon will share details during a special program taking place on the Museum’s Town Hall stage at 11:45 a.m.

In addition to a new feature at Discovery Place Kids – Huntersville, Colonial Pipeline will help spark curiosity and inspiration in the next generation of young learners. Their investment in the community will allow Discovery Place educators to facilitate high-quality STEM programming in local schools throughout the school year.

“Colonial Pipeline takes great pride in supporting the communities where our people live and work,” said Colonial President and CEO Joe Blount. “We’ve had a presence in the Huntersville area for more than 50 years and we look forward to partnering with Discovery Place to support its educational programming and its important mission across Mecklenburg County.”
