Discovery Place Welcomes Gabby and the Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days Tour This August

Meet & greet with Gabby included with Museum admission – one day only!

CHARLOTTE, NC (July 22, 2025) – Discovery Place Science is excited to welcome Gabby and the Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days tour to the Museum on Sunday, August 24, 2025. In collaboration with DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), this special event is included in general admission and brings the magic of the hit series Gabby’s Dollhouse to the Museum for one day only!

Families are invited to this fun-filled event with Gabby’s Dollhouse themed activities, storytelling sessions, interactive fun and an opportunity to meet Gabby herself. Young fans will have the chance to meet with a Gabby costumed character, snap a photo and step into the whimsical world of Gabby’s Dollhouse to explore, create and learn.

Special Event Activities:
– Gabby Meet & Greet – Interact with Gabby and smile for photos with the beloved character.

– Gabby Scavenger Hunt – Gabby and her friends are exploring the Museum to learn more about science. Can you find their favorite exhibits?

– Gabby’s Dollhouse Storytime – Join a special story time and fun-filled activity featuring the whimsy of a Gabby’s Dollhouse storybook.

– Hamster Kitties Art – Make your own Hamster Kitties from Gabby’s Dollhouse and take them home with you!

“Gabby’s Dollhouse is more than fun—it’s a celebration of imaginative exploration and learning through purposeful play,” said Dr. Nikole Hill, Chief Learning Officer at Discovery Place. “The show’s themes of teamwork, curiosity and resilience align with our focus on playful learning and child-led discovery. We’re excited to bring this one-of-a-kind experience to families in our community.”

Celebrating the power of imagination and exploration, Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days is a year-long partnership of DreamWorks Animation and ACM to bring the magic of the hit series Gabby’s Dollhouse to children’s museums across the U.S.
