Visit Discovery Place Science to complete the ultimate mission: Enjoy an adults-only evening focused on all things spy related.
CHARLOTTE – This month, visit Discovery Place Science to complete the ultimate mission: Enjoy an adults-only evening focused on all things spy related.
Science on the Rocks guests will go undercover and experience the life of a spy through a multitude of interactive activities. See if you can beat the clock in our Quick Change Challenge, use your investigation abilities to win our spy movie trivia game, observe the techniques used to make a martini fit for your favorite operative and much more at Shaken Not Stirred.
The event takes place Friday, April 19, from 5-9 p.m. at Discovery Place Science. Tickets are $12 in advance and $14 at the door. Guests must be 21 or older.
For an additional $3, step into the fantasy realm of Bug Lab. The larger-than-life bug exhibition was created by New Zealand’s world-famous Te Papa museum, working with five-time Academy Award-winning design and manufacture studio Weta Workshop, the studio behind the design and physical effects for The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Complete the evening by cuddling up with irresistibly cute critters in the newest film to arrive at the IMAX® Dome Theatre – Pandas. Tickets to the 7 p.m. showing of the film, which documents the heartwarming global story of reintroducing captive born pandas into the wild, cost $5 each.
