CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 22, 2026) – Discovery Place Science is excited to welcome the return of the Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days tour, October 2–4, 2026. In collaboration with DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), this special event celebrates the power of imagination and play, bringing the magic of the hit television series Gabby’s Dollhouse to the museum for one weekend only.

“Experiences like this give children the freedom to follow their curiosity, make connections and discover something new in ways that feel natural and joyful,” said Dr. Nikki Hill, Chief Learning Officer at Discovery Place. “We’re excited to create opportunities where families can explore together and where a favorite character can inspire children to ask questions, try new things and see the world in a different way.”

Families are invited to this fun-filled event with Gabby’s Dollhouse themed activities, storytelling sessions, interactive fun and an opportunity to meet Gabby herself. Young fans will have the chance to meet with a Gabby costumed character, snap a photo and step into the whimsical world of Gabby’s Dollhouse to explore, create and learn.

Special Activities:
Gabby Meet & Greet – Interact with Gabby and smile for photos with the beloved character. A museum admission ticket is required for each individual age 1 and older entering the museum for the Meet & Greet and special event activities.

Gabby Scavenger Hunt – Gabby and her friends are exploring the museum to learn more about science. Can you find their favorite exhibits?

Gabby’s Dollhouse Storytime – Join a special story time and fun-filled activity featuring the whimsy of a Gabby’s Dollhouse storybook.

Hamster Kitties Art – Make your own Hamster Kitties from Gabby’s Dollhouse and take them home with you!

“We are proud to be partnering with DreamWorks Animation for a second year to inspire playful learning for children and families throughout the US. ACM and DreamWorks Animation share key values as they relate to the value of imagination, curiosity and playful learning,” said Arthur G. Affleck, III, Executive Director of the Association of Children’s Museums. “Like children’s museums, Gabby’s Dollhouse emphasizes social-emotional learning and showcases compassion, curiosity, creativity and teamwork. We’re excited to bring the fun from Season 13’s Fairylandia to create magical experiences at museums, too. ACM is so excited to be partnering with DreamWorks Animation to shine a spotlight on our  member museums across the country.”
